According to the latest reports, ISWAP has used (again) 1 SVBIED (suicide vehicle-born IED) during this midnight, targeting the units apparently involved in this counter-terrorist operation. This time, a truck has been used as a car-bomb (unprecedent, since they are used to SUVs or pickups with makeshift plate armour).

Many casualties amongst MNJTF ranks, including Cameroonian soldiers that were tasked with backing up the army.

When seen from NASA's VIIRS imagery, there are many lectures of infrarred anomalies in the areas involved of this operation (lectures are updated every 24 hours). The lectures are fresh from THIS MORNING (Central European Time).

Sometimes, they can just be forestal or agricultural fires or, on the other hand, a large gathering of vehicles. Vehicle fires are included, as well as the aftermath of potential airstrikes.

This time, we'll disregard the possibility of agricultural fires due to the progress of this (yet another) counter-terrorist operation.
