Serious Videoconferencing becoming a professional requirement

School, work interviews, professional training, virtual meetings... they're all requiring you show them your face just to be allowed to survive. No face, no credit/job/money. So you get to sit there and SEE 50 small images of other people looking at you and NOT hiding their disgust.

I had this Zoom interview two days ago. This co-interviewer woman was sitting down as the main interviewer was standing and talking to me. The woman, I swear I'm not exaggerating, looked like she was watching a dog diarrhea all over a carpet. Seeing this screwed up my game.

Online work could have been a way for those of us who look really, really bad to at least survive. But now, they demand seeing you there too. Appearance really is just about everything.

This covid thing really made clear how many bs job you have on the job market. Jobs where literal "chit chat" and gossips on a fucking social media (Zoom, but I remember back then we had msn, which is basically the same shit) is now called "work" ... That's eloquent enough to show how degenerate late stage capitalism soyciety has become ... Now the more shallow you are, the more privilege you get. These unuseful ppl often are portrayed as "the winners" of the pandemic, while in fact they are part of the problem, especially when you see actual useful jobs (nurse, cops, militaries, specialized workers ...) getting less and less recognition and remuneration from soyciety. How long will this sick parasitic liberal system last ?

I've experienced the same in job interviews from women. I would be calmly giving my answers to simple questions and their tone of responses or questions were always hostile. Their lack of decency is unbelievable
