Imagine if you will, a day dedicated to celebrating the wealthy. A day that encouraged those wealthy people to show off their wealth in public encouraging them to flexing there monetary muscle upon those who are no so fortunate, Imagine every single store stocking their shelfs just for richest people in our society. Imagine social media being filled with those rich people showing off their expesenive purchases on that day for all to see so that they can be reminded of what they cannot have. No day exists in our current society because it would be consider cruel towards those who less fortunate.
And yet a day in the same spirit exists, a day that mocks those who are less fortunate. They call it Valentines day. A supposed celebration of love between 2 individuals unless you are of the unfortunate, the unlovable lower caste of society that has never been loved and never will be loved. This day serves as a painful reminder of what we cannot obtain now and will never obtain later, Love. What a cruel and heartless day.
