When women say looks matter, they often keep it vague so they don’t seem shallow. Instead of saying things like “strong jawline” or “sharp cheekbones,” they’ll say “nice teeth” or “nice hair.”

But those traits are often just a softer way of pointing to deeper features they’re attracted to… like good facial structure and symmetry.

And while “nice teeth” or “nice hair” sound simple, they’re not always easy to have. Good teeth can take expensive dental work, and nice hair depends on genetics, hair type, or not going bald.

So even though it sounds like they’re talking about small, fixable things, they’re really hinting at traits that not every guy can control.
