After recovery from the civil war between the syndicalists and socialists, the federal government, the pacific states and the American union state, Huey Long of the American union state has come out on top after the destruction of the previous 3 powers. However this wouldn’t last.
after the moving of the capital to Charleston, and the agreement to cooperate with the Silver legion under William Dudley pelley (despite Huey not liking nativists, anglo Saxon supremacists or klansmen-however cooperation was vital for the war) in October 15th of 1939, William Dudley Pelley, with a squad of silver legion troops opened the doors of congress after assassinating Huey long.
