Unpopular Opinion- I Like RDRII

A lot of users will criticize me here for this, but I have actually enjoyed playing what I have thus far.

yes, I now it is "slow-paced" but the thing is, this is set in the Old American West, where the steam-train was some brand spanking-new invention. I honestly feel the reason why many here slander Red Dead yet praise GTA(at least the older ones) is simply due to the fact of the matter that it's the same premise as GTA, but without the fast-paced action of it which ofc, appeals to many of our rotted nigger-tier Zoomerfied brains.

The story is fairly decent, if generic, the graphics are good, the gameplay is well paced out, and I also find it just relaxing to play.

I'm a loyal Son of Skyrim so my reaction seeing RDR2 was holy FUCK that looks amazing, my mods don't even come close to this.

I can't get motivated enough to buy a cowboy game though. I can't explain it.

Oh I just saw it was rd2, not the first one in the title jfl. The second one for me was OK, I felt it dragged on for a bit long, and following Dutch around as he fucked everything up again and again got a little boring near the end.

I prefer the first one personally.

Also, they could have at least make Arthur to be neutral to politics since cowboys are just mercenary gangsters that try to make a buck and nothing else. They basically made him a liberal cowboy jfl

He wasn't even advocating for racial genocide or anything like that, but just racial preservation and somehow that's also racist according to the game . RD1 was pretty good because you could actually play the game. RD2 was just a walking simulator with cutscenes.

I was falling asleep, not enough of playing the game, too many cutscenes, and too many forced walking segments. The game doesn't even let you fucking sprint in your camp, you have to do this slow walk or a slow jog (can't remember because I uninstalled that boring piece of shit)

It's a technical marvel in many respects, but the storytelling is weak and the game feels a little bloated. I preferred RDR1.

It doesn't really compare to New Vegas. There is a karma system and a couple of choices you can make in the story, but none of them massively alter the game's story. The missions are also rather linear and straightforward; there isn't much in the way of alternative approaches to completing them.

I did like some of the sim aspects and character customization. Growing a beard and losing/gaining weight is neat. It's highest degree of character customization a Rockstar game has offered since San Andreas.
