I know people love to shit on re4 remake here a lot. But i wont lie about the fact how much i hated qtes in original. Especially since i only had mouse and keyboard to play re4. That was a ubisoft pc port iirc which used num lock keys to aim and it was terrible experience idk how kid me made it through the game. Then i played the game after it got released for ps4 xbox one and steam. And still found qte annoying as hell. Especially that minecart section one where i had to smash my X button hard af. Also dodging krauser in his knife fight was annoying asf. Krauser felt like a afterthought in original like he was there to replace vergil. But remke added a student and mentor relationship which added emotional depth to fight. Also arena design is so much better than the original. I loved parrying knives with krauser instead of relying on random number to dodge in qtes. Only complain i have with krauser in remake is his voice acting. Voice actor sounded like he consumed too much soy
