In an attempt to save the dying economy, through the entire month of August from Mon-Fri each week, Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs will apply 50% discounts across the board. There's going to be a few dickheads who'll raise the price before applying the discount, but for the most part purchases should be cheaper.
I may personally purchase a subway (footlong for £2.50) or a burger king, not had them in years.
