Earlier this week, from the DOJ:
The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that on March 22, 2022, Eike Blohm, 39, of South Burlington, Vermont, was sentenced in United States District Court in Burlington, Vermont, to serve 100 months of imprisonment following his guilty plea to one count of possession of child pornography. U.S. District Judge Christina Reiss also ordered Blohm to serve a 12-year term of supervised release, to pay restitution to identified victims, and to pay a special assessment of $100.
Yikes.
According to an affidavit from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent (SA) Seth Fiore, in April 2020, an employee at the University of Vermont Medical Center discovered a hidden camera in a bathroom in the Emergency Department. Detectives at the Burlington Police Department (BPD) found that the camera had recorded over 1,300 videos of men and women showering, changing their clothes, or using the toilet. They also noticed that the camera recorded, on occasion, the face and nametag of the person setting it up: Eike Blohm, MD. Emergency Medicine.
When the BPD executed a search warrant at Blohm's residence, they also discovered that he had set up a hidden camera in a bathroom. That camera recorded the bathroom activities of his wife, Staci Tokarz, his sister-in-law, Stephanie Tokarz, and two minor stepdaughters. During an examination of his Apple device, the Vermont State Police located one hundred instances of child pornography, some of which featured prepubescent children suffering sadomasochistic abuse.
You can read the full affidavit here:
In July 2021, Blohm pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of possession of child pornography. He was also convicted in Vermont state court for voyeurism.
This Tuesday, he was sentenced to 100 months, or 8 years and 4 months, in federal court; it will run concurrently with the state sentence. He was also ordered to pay $39,000 in fines and restitution:
Blohm was naturalized as a United States citizen in 2018.
Personality detectors on point. Yet another example of normgroid degeneracy.
