Tucker is right when he says the bar for having a good life keeps getting higher and higher. My cousin who’s only about 20 years older than me knocked up a girl in highschool, and was still able to flunk his way through college, get a nice job, a nice truck, a house, and get married (twice).
I have friends who’ve never touched drugs or alcohol and focused entirely on acing their classes and graduating early with engineering degrees (with internships) to get jack shit at the end. A lot of them are stacking boxes at Amazon.
