Gaming Tried Zenless Zone Zero

I tried the other "hoyoverse" games, to find I didn't like them. Figured I'd do the same for zzz, just to be able to say I tried it. It wasn't bad, up until it started showing it's crappy mobile game side. I was playing one if the side combat missions. there's a perry mechanic if you swap characters as you're attacked, allowing you to deal extra damage. In this mission the enemies were pretty bulky so I needed to rely on it for damage. In mobile game fashion, this mechanic sucks ass and doesn't completely work. Sometimes it will refuse to work, forcing my character to lose 90% of their hp, sometimes it will work, but instead of doing counter damage, the swapped character will just get hit by the next attack. Or, it won't perry and both characters will take a little bit of damage. It's very inconsistent. Additionally, when trying to dodge attacks,you need to dodge into a specific direction. However, your camera locks onto a specific enemy that your fighting and will move with that enemy. There will be a number of times I go to dodge an attack, only to dodge into a different attack because the camera moved. This is why I hate mobile games, no matter how hard they try, they will always play like ass

It's a fun game, and it's not even that hard, yes you will face problems with progression because you either need to spend more or grind more, but that's LITERALLY EVERY gacha game and Hoyoverse games are quite forgiving. I used to play Hoyoverse games for like a full year, only spent 80 euros and it was 90% of what I played.

Zenless Zone Zero is one of the easier gacha games, you can put dozens of hours in before you face a wall. If you played shit like NIKKE for a long time then you would know what a real wall is. Idk I've played Zenless Zone Zero, very fluid and nice gameplay tbh.

When you complain about mobile game fashion and pretty bulky enemies that you can't beat implying that you can't reach sufficient damage output, I assume you indirectly criticize the gacha elements. Idk, you're not complaining aobut loot boxes, but other gacha elements.

I wasn't complaining about the bulky enemies. I even had a method of how to deal with them. But the mechanics within the game weren't working properly. I'm patient enough to slowly chip away dmg over time, idc if enemies are bulky

it's slop but the characters are hot and they animate certain parts of the body very well
