Even if he was quiet about it and didn't write a manifesto he'd still have been turned in by his roommates and family and flagged by red flag laws for purchasing a suspicious amount of weapons. Idk people that aren't conservative have been pushing for gun control for a number of years so that these stricter kind of red flag laws can be put in place to make an example out of any disgruntled male that stockpiles weapons while not employed by the government.
