I don't know man, pets can be pretty based. If I had enough time, I'd get one of those large parrots because apparently they are really intelligent and they pair bond for life so they become depressed when you're gone. It would be the closest substitute to a GF you can get.
I was thinking about getting a hamster again, i have 2 huge cages with tunnels, houses, floors and toys that i used when i held hamsters in early teens.

Dunno my grandmother has a parrot and it's a retarded bird that barely repeats some words, nothing special. I guess some parrots are more intelligents but for what i've seen they are overrated

A trucel should have a magascsr cockroach and tarantula as a pet. I will be getting one of each as a part of my monk training. I have to train myself to tolerate any type of bug on my skin
