I was raised very religiously, then went full atheist, because I thought I was being edgy and smart, JFL. I then found out other atheists are fucking unbearable and 99% of them follow a woke ideology. Female atheists tend to be the pierced, tattooed, ultra-woke types; male atheists tend to be fat greasy neckbeard simps.
While I'm not going back to the religious environment of my childhood (a stupid cult that takes the 6000 year old Earth literally), I'm an agnostic now.
Retard take. A large portion of people realize organized religion is bullshit in like middle school and stop caring about it. Plenty of people are “atheist” by default of not caring about religion or believing in a particular god.
I remember going to youth group in middle school and highschool, and even kids then would say things like, “I don’t know, this whole religion thing seems like a bunch of made-up bullshit.” Basically nobody I went to church with as a teenager still goes to church as a grown adult of their own free will. The girls that sang worship were hoes that would give blowjobs in the parking lot after youth group. The guys pretended to be le epic manly Bible guy to get pussy. I consider myself agnostic, but organized religion is aimed at stupid people.
People in the US think religion is popular because NFL football chad will say a prayer after completing a touchdown before going home and having an orgy with 20 hot women. The reality is most “Christians” in the US don’t go to church, don’t read the Bible, and probably don’t even really think god exists. It’s just not a subject worth dedicating anymore mental energy to.
The reality is you’re surrounded by atheists all the time, but most of them don’t care enough to spout their opinion or they even pretend to be a certain religion. Or they’ll get baptized Catholic and call it good. The only people “debating” religion are blue-haired liberals who are mad at their youth pastor for diddling them in middle school.
In countries like Australia or most of Europe, most everyone is atheist or just people who believe in a god but don’t have a religion. But it’s so normal over there that retards aren’t arguing about the Bible back and forth on the streets. It’s irrelevant, and the super-religious are considered weird, but they keep to themselves. I would bet Chris Hemsworth and Jacob Elordi and other Aussie Chads are atheists.
Just to clarify, I think the universe has a creator, but organized religion in the US is definitely a farce for control over dumb people. Church is not worth going to considering what it has become.
