Except those realistic games with no artstyle quickly become "ugly" in comparison to the games that follow which always push the graphics further. People thought uncharted 2 was beautiful and perfect back in the day. These aren't timeless at all

Firstly, back when Uncharted 2 released we didn't have photorealistic games yet. The jump from 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4 was way bigger than we have now. Now devs are focussing on resolution and/or performance instead.

Secondly, a point and click adventure with the most barebones of graphics isn't really beautiful. These games aren't timeless, their mechanics are so old and dull that the young generation can't really enjoy them. Even Abe's World looks pixelated as fuck.

And these photorealistic games, like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Batman Arkham Knight have atmospheres that can't be reproduced by these old games.

I know Abe's World isn't point and click. I thought the third one was, but it seems like ALL of the ones you mentioned is a side scroller from 1920. Which made me think the third one is a point and click game.
