The Chinese nation does not control it's own military, the military is controlled by the communist party, this is the equivalent of the Democrats or Republicans controlling the US military, not the people.

The military has the same problems Arab military's have, they have no communication across branches, and they refuse to have communication even within branches, in best case scenario the communication within a branch is very poor. The Chinese military is set-up to protect the political party in control from other forces within China, not to protect the Chinese people/nation.

Even if the Chinese managed to overtake the US on defense budget spending, and builds a huge air-force and huge navy, it will still suffer the problem in that it lacks proper command, control and communication.

China will never be a world class military super power, so you can kiss your hopes and dreams of China taking over the world goodbye.

But again, as I mentioned in regards to the GDP, even if China doubles the US GDP, and builds a huge navy and airforce, it lacks the control, command and communication that western forces have, and to top it off, anti-communist Chinese will rise up against the communist party from within China. If China gets into any war against the US, it will get mogged by superior western fighting forces, and it will also get mogged from within by it's own people rising up against the communist party.

It is like the Democratic party in the US being the original founders and owners of the US military, and that the US military (founded and owned by the Democrats) only listens to and takes orders from the Democratic party, not any other political party, not the people, not the nation itself, it follows the orders of the Democratic party.

So it would be like now in the US. Trump and the US government/people not having control of the US military, but all control of the US military being done by the Democrats.

90 years ago the communist party in China built its own army, then over-took the Chinese government, and dismantled the Chinese army, and setup its own army as the army of China. So the Chinese army is the Communist's partys army, loyal only to the communist political party, not the Chinese nation/people.
