I'm looking to improve my skills and only know HTML but I'm looking to master an actual language

Any advice would be appreciated

By just coding

Think of a use case for what you want to do with code, and try to do something with it. For example, you want to automate X, so you make a small script that does X.

I started learning with python, I originally wanted to make a python script that bruteforces Kahoot join codes. At that time I didn't know any programming, so I stole someone else's project and studied it line by line. Then I tried reproducing the code by hand, because I realised the code could actually be slimmed down by quite a bit.

That's how I started at least.

Just Type code, type stuff you don't know from docs and stuff you do with the help of your mind

You don't. Unless you're an autist, those mfs can code.

Just look up YouTube tutorials

I enjoy typing out html sites but I want to learn a new language

If you want to learn javascript with node and react, check a youtube channel called "anson developer".

I have component level knowledge and some PCB design experience, so not a programmer. I knew some programmers at my workplace tho. They were obviously NT, one with down syndrome
