You will automatically be preselected against for your looks. You don't get a chance on Tinder to showcase your personality as opposed to real life. If you're below a 7/10, swipe left with Tinder.
Tinder only pays off above the 7/10 range. Below that it's either worthless or very poor depending on your location and phenotype.

If you are truecel then yes, tinder is a terrible waste for you and you'll get nothing out of it. That said, tinder is a good place to learn IF you are a truecel or if your terrible social skills are holding you back.
