Theodore John Kaczynski is the most famous neo luddite, followed by Ned Ludd of course. I know that we as incels spend too much time online, though I am assuming that most are warry about implementing too much tech into their life. What is too much tech for you? Where do you draw the line?

ted kaczynski was a schizo and his ideas are only taken seriously by those still in high school and want to feel rebellious. his only legacy is becoming a meme thats about it. the only thing he was right about was the psychology of "leftists"

Disagree, though i'm not a "transhumanist" ofc but I do like tech

its silly; the use of technology is the issue, not the technology itself.

how do they expect to close pandora's box anyway?

Well.... neoluddism is all about taking the cautious route. Like for example not adopting automation before new jobs can be found for the people affected. Or placing stricter rules on the internet so that used up roasties can't send feet pics and make millions off of that. I think that we can all agree that E-dating has been a mistake.

oh, I see. My only exposure with it was Industrial Society & Its Future so I thought it was just completely anti-(post industrial)technology.

I don't agree with that but I oppose to the excessive digitalization process like removing cash money and making things like getting a job an online thing.
I believe technology is necessary but there should be also non technological options.

Everything in human life is a war between civilized man (without spirit) and uncivilized man (with spirit). all ideas, inventions, cultural manifestations or artistic productions are externalizations of these natures. we just need to see if something that the person presents manifests itself beyond them, and in a continuous way and with a tendency to grow. if this does not occur, then the behavior and the created being itself is of an entropic (destructive) nature

anarcho-primitivism is nothing more than a product of civilized man. even because technology does not come from civilization itself, but rather from the ability of some individuals to use elements in certain forms and components to impose their will.

I was one about cellphones for a long time. Until lightning took out my wired computer a few times and destroyed everything.

It was slightly cheaper and actually about the same processer speed.
