A man defends his country from foreign invaders and he gets labelled as evil terrorist scum.

This world is absolutely disgusting and sickening. You have corrupt billionaires who are praised while homeless men get mocked on the internet and get treated like dirt on the streets. A rich person would walk past a homeless man and let him rot on the street. Afterwards, this person would lecture the average person about morality and justice.

They will make you think of the good in people, but people are only as good as they want you to believe.

Yeah, I think incels are foreshadowing of a trend that will affect all of society - realizing everyone is shit.

The 2010s were the decade of social media. The world became truly interconnected and everyone got exposed to everything all types of people were doing....aaaand it turns out nobody is really that interesting, most people are lying, self-centered, and proudly ignorant.

We'll see how all this affects public perceptions. I know I for one feel no loyalty at all to any type of government, and I feel separate from society, so have no interest in "the common welfare" like my country's constitution describes as its mission for existence.

About a third of Americans have access to legal cannabis. That's the only cope that's really unique to here. That, and wide open spaces not specifically designated as such, though unending population growth is limiting how much of that there is.
