When the $5 footlong sandwich deal ended during the 2010’s - I was done with Subway. My mom stopped going after they raised their prices following the pandemic.
My mom used to love the “Meatball Marinara” sandwich - you see how they fucked up the tuna, I never trusted their meatballs.
I used to always get an Italian BMT (biggest, meatiest, tastiest), on honey oat bread.

That is a risk you have to be willing to take. Usually you can ask around for a good place to eat, visit it, and scan around to see if it is dirty. I know plenty of comfy restaurants from experimentation.

No matter how clean a place is it doesn't stop a booger dropping out of someones nose in to your food. One time I went to IHOP there's was hair in my food and a LOT of hair in my OJ. My first job I worked in a kitchen and the cook would accidentally cut her finger and have blood drip in to the food and sometimes she would cry and tears would also drip in to the food.
During the plandemic they made me sit outside like an animal!
