Dude crypto is like playing at the casino, hopefully you win but most people lose. It's just a fad. These digital coins don't have any real value to them.
You see the currencies of countries are backed by the economy of that said country and the natural resources that they have.
A bitcoin isn't backed by anything, it's "funny money", it just magically has a value because "the market" says so, but there's no real value to it, and that's exactly why it's so volatile and you can lose money so easily.
If you missed the bitcoin train the chances of you making it rich in bitcoin is pretty much impossible.
If you are hoping to randomly make it big in crypto you might as well pray instead.
No offense, but you seem to only have surface level knowledge about crypto, which is understandable. I had the same opinions you had when I was a newbie to crypto.
I haven't bought a single ounce of Bitcoin. It's way too late to get rich with Bitcoin, you are right about that. But Bitcoin isn't the only cryptocurrency. There are new ones and better ones being created every day. For example, just last year a coin called Shiba Inu was created and it increased in price by over 10,000x overnight. If you bought just $100 worth back in February 2021, you would have a million dollars right now. The only way to get rich in crypto is to find an unknown coin that has the potential to recieve mass adoption in the future, and buy as much of it as you can while the price is still low so that when tons of people start buying it, your money will hopefully multiply by hundreds or thousands. I like to think of it as investing in Microsoft a year before anyone used it or knew that it existed.
To pull this off will require tons of research, waiting, and guessing though. That's the difficult part, and the reason why 99% of crypto investors will never get rich. But if you're like me and have been doing lots of researching, reading of charts, studying the market etc. then you'll know which coins have a high potential of making you rich and your chances of getting rich is closer to 50%.
That's why I wouldn't compare it to praying to god, it's more like playing the lottery with an increasing chance of winning depending on how much time and effort you put into trying to win.
Digital coins has no real value you're right, but neither does gold. Gold is just a yellow piece of metal. It only has a price because people assigned a price to it. Crypto is no different. Even if it has no real value, millions of people are trading it anyway.
And as for crypto being a fad, that's far from the truth. As we speak, all the world governments are preparing for crypto to be a huge part of their economies in the coming years. It's not even conspiracy, it's facts. Research "CBDCs", this stuff is legit. Also, more and more companies are adding an option to pay for their products with crypto everyday. Crypto Youtube channels are becoming more and more popular every year. Calling crypto a fad is like calling VR a fad 6 years ago. But again, I don't expect most people to know this if they aren't as involved in the crypto space as I am.
I'd instead advise that you focus your attention on online sales. It's the only legitimate gold mine that has nothing to do with scams, etc. It's all about finding a niche market, created a product they'd want to buy, creating a store for that product, and then targeting that niche audience through advertising to get them to see your product.
I've messed around with that for a bit as well as the dropshipping stuff. It's just not for me. It seems simple on paper, but there's a ton of micro-managing that goes into it that's just impossible for me to do while also wageslaving 12 hour shifts. Also the market is very saturated, so by the time you even manage to find a product, there's already competition that's doing everything better than you. It's very tough.
