Already turned off the stupid holiday features long ago, changing the theme to Classic 2019 did not change the usage numbers at all.

if different themes dont work, look deeper into your process list. Also use the develop console tools included in the browser to see whats spiking

If I close this site, the usage goes to normal/near zero. It is the browser that I am using to be here that consumes the resources, not some other processes.
Browsers can have multiple processes.
