1) The difference between 39-49% is not that huge. 10 percentage points. Don't get massively carried away with it. The only differences that are significant enough to reach a conclusion is that A. women like white more than men do and B. black women are the least among women to like white.
2) This is curries in the US, and in my experience curry men do like asian, latina, and indian by a fair degree (giving 42%) and blacks in turn have a huge fetish for latina (giving the lowest at 39%).

The reason are makeup, good nutrition and not having to work under sun. Indians will be on par with whites in terms of looks if economic conditions are same.
