Max number of images I can embed is 30 and that's how many I've embedded.
So I've included 30 posters out of approximately 99 threads total that can still be publicly searched (many would be deleted or removed by mods). So me and this boy I’ve liked for a little while have been talking more recently. So, i've been going to church ever since I was very young. My mom has always brought me with her. She's a Christian, but not a super extreme one. She makes us pray before dinner, and go to church and sunday school every Sunday, but nothing more really. Still, she definitely believes in god. Next year, she wants me to do conformation, which is essentially me professing to the church that I believe in god and want to be a Christian. The big deal is that it's supposed to be the child's choice, unlike baptism, which happens when your are a baby and is the parents decision. Here's the problem. I'm not religious. At all. I'm facing several outcomes. Either I tell her, or I don't. If I tell her, the best reaction would be for her to accept that I'm my own person, and I have a right to my own beliefs. However, that probably won't happen. The other situation is that I tell her, and she gets upset with me. My mom and I had a rough spot a while ago, having to do with me being trans, which I just don't bring up anymore as it heavily upsets her. If I tell her, she would possibly get upset with me, take away everything that I care about, get rid of my privileges, and do everything she could to force me into believing in god. the last option is that I just don't tell her. The bad thing about this is that i would be really uncomfortable, and I feel like I would be disrespectful to the Christian religion and faith by pretending to believe in something I don't. To me, that just isn't fair. (Just to clarify, I respect all religions, and any faith anyone wants to believe in, as long as the entire religion isn't based around harming others.) I'm stressed out. My confirmation is in a few months. I don't know what to do. Could I have some advice?
