So to get the best results on deepfakes, you should learn a little bit of basic video editing to crop out the scenes that work well with the model. Otherwise you will get bad face distortion effects.

After you're done cropping the vid, you can use https://github.com/iperov/DeepFaceLab.

The best way to do it if you don't have your own GPU is extract the faces in your own pc, but train the model in google drive

my 1070 still works well enough tbh. Around half the speed of a google collab notebook.
Also if you use a pretrained model it only takes 12 hrs for very good results.
