cats are actually very complex. We humans do a lot of things that in their view means that we are below them and they actually think, they are our leaders, for example if we let them sit on us, this tells them they are in charge over us.
Just like dogs, a cat has to be psychologically educated and if you follow the rules, she will surrender to you and see you as the leader, just like a dog
