Day one of hanging out with my sister and her boyfriend in Texas. It's awkward as hell, so I drink.

They're planning on getting married. Both have careers or future prospects. They have an apartment together.

They have each other.

Haven't been sleeping too well. Think it's finally hitting me that I'm gonna die alone.

Everyone else is normal, and I'm just this. I feel like I've outstayed my welcome in life.

Like I've hit the max level in a video game, and now there's nothing left to do.

I don't think there's any digging myself out of this. It's over.

I failed so hard in life that it's almost impressive. I'm not even sure I can classify myself as human.

It's just cope until I die.

hanging around female relatives really gives you an idea of how pampered they are. my cousin is with a dude twice her age, apparently no one in the family has a problem with that. my grandfather treated her like a princess all our lives while I never felt welcomed by him. he also treated his son (my uncle) quite poorly growing up (in contrast to his daughter, who wasn't criticized even when she fucked up spectacularly). it got to the point where my uncle cut contact for several years during his 20's
