Yep, I got kicked out of Uni, applied for hundreds of jobs, 70+ job applications denied, hundreds of Job applications never even got a response to. I know I live in L.A and this place is a unique hell, but still. Saw less qualified women and minorities get jobs over me. It's over.

I think rich people back in the day had more expectations placed on them, if you're the king you have the obligation to defend the realm and maintain the kingdom etc. If you're a really shitty king the kingdom is going to flounder and you're might personally be in a lot of trouble. You could be overthrown.

Modern day rich people make their money off bullshit stuff (investments, using money to make more money) and don't have any responsibility to the common plebs around them. If you're Jeff Bezos you don't give a shit about all the peasants around you, you're just a quick private jet ride away to another country anyway.
