You don't even need a teacher nowadays for most stuff. It's all out there on the internet, you have all the resources you need for learning anything you want, just have some discipline.

There really should be an experience in the field requirement for teachers. People straight out of college shouldn't be teaching.

It makes sense. Teaching generally pays less then those respective careers (except "advocate", political activism generally doesn't pay well, or at all). And considering all of the bullshit you have to put up with as a teacher (dealing with obnoxious kids/teenagers, lesson planning and grading papers on your days off, attending mandatory seminars on days off for no extra pay, etc.) that means either:

1) They couldn't hack it in their field of study
2) They have an autistic dedication to a political agenda and want to indoctrinate young impressionable kids
3) They have a useless degree
4) They are actually passionate about teaching and enjoy working with kids/teenagers

The latter of the 4 certainly do exist, and I've certainly had a few teachers who genuinely seemed to care about teaching and their students. But people in general are not particularly altruistic, and very few are altruistic enough to pick a career that pays less and is more stressful when they have better options. So usually there's something else going on, and it's more often than not, #1 or #3. #2 is somewhat less common because those types of people usually become college professors as pays better, and is much less stressful. Though it's possible that they failed to obtain the necessary credentials to become a professor in the first place.

Most young teacher (especially women) choose this profession because they don't meet the criteria for the other ones. Most people don't want to mess around with annoying students for a shit pay. Oh I had those bitches in my elementary school. There was a kid who's mother used to do drugs. The kid was a bit messed up too, but I mostly remember him like a nice average guy with anger issues and a shit face. I knew a woman who taught at a gifted school for legit high IQ kids and she said they don't even require teaching. They learn on their own. If you have to spend effort on the kids to help them learn, it's already over for them.

Well I'm telling that teachers generally have average IQ, some high IQ and some low IQ, like in the rest of the population basically.
I mean you can't judge the IQ of a teacher just on their teaching capabilities. The bad teacher I talked about made me realise this.

Also I don't people who fail their studies have low IQ. You can fail your studies for various reasons that have nothing to do with your IQ: not having enough money, having problems in your family (eg your father die), being depressed, ...

KEK you still believe people do things out of kindness? This isn't a fucking fairytale. I am one of the few students who got a certificate of excellence for great grades, so believe me that my view of them is not because I am a poor student. But this is expected, because most teachers who teach have 0 experience but the schools take them anyway because it's better to have someone who teaches bad than not have someone who teaches at all. There is a reason why there are so few teachers out there, because all the others actually succeeded in through getting a degree or by other means.

I graduated college at a well ranked school, and had tons of friend in education, and they were ALL good students with decent SAT

BUT.....i will say that they wanted SECURITY over money in general, and they were not overly AMBITIOUS in a Trumpian sense.
