First off, the music BY FAR, is so fucking good. Every single game (even the spin-offs!) have some of the best tracks in my entire eardrums history. Besides that though, I feel like a lot of the games, even the supposed best one "Yakuza 0", have a ton of writing flaws. The combat is basic, which is fine. It wasn't going for a hardcore fighting game, like Godhand. Or something. It also changed a lot of it's direction in terms of tone over the years. The first one "Yakuza 1" was gritty, and had little to no comedy, afaik. But then it just became ridicloulous and started breaking numerous laws and rules in the universe, and cliches became VERY established. (Rubber bullet, ring a bell?) It just became worse and worse, but the combat became a bit better with each game, admittedly. The stories had numerous plot hole, dumb moments that made no sense, and a lot of other issues. There's way to much to speak about for each game, and the series as a whole. What are your guys thoughts on these games?
