It hurts a lot when you are going through the school corridor and you see a number of pairs kissing, hugging, pairs which are holding their hands. There is a lack of words to say how painful is that. Here young life takes place. First serious relationships, love. And the only one thing you can do is to look helplessly at them because it's over if you're 5'6. You won't experience young life, you won't feel happy when being hugged by a girl, nothing about it. Going ER is the only correct option in that situation.
