This is honestly probably the most horrible and crushing part of it really and I feel a part people misunderstand. You get people saying shit like "there are people out there who've been through far worse and they have no problem", but the difference between going through a bad situation and being in a situation such as being an ugly man is that if you're attractive that bad situation will end.

As an attractive man, even while going through the worst, you know that if you can just get through it there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You know that you have the potential to live a good life no matter how bad it gets in the moment and this can carry you through such awful times. As an ugly man this is different, there is no light at the end of that tunnel. There is absolutely nothing to look forwards to, and you live knowing while its bad that it will ultimately only get worse as time goes on. There is nothing for you to look forwards to, women will never love you, people will never want to be friends with you, you will be alone and always will be. You situation will simply continue to be awful no matter how hard you work, and the stresses you go through will never pay off to something better. You're in a state of living for the sake of living with no real future. Your life will simply be awful until you die, looked at with disdain by those around you, or at best a jester for their entertainment at your expense.

I think this is the most crushing aspect of it, its what makes going through all the awful times so much worse, having to go through them knowing they will never end and can only get worse and worse the longer you live, at the very best being able to merely distract yourself with things that take you away from the nightmarish reality you live in, but never really having a future, just working to the next cope. And all the while you get to watch all the better looking people surf through life, even at their worst still doing better knowing they'll get out of it eventually and go on to mog you in every possible way.
