It would be to live as far away from civilization in a forest. No internet/communication except my family, (i have no friends) My only friends would be the trees and the birds just like now. No way near a town, endless food at my hand. I would rather live like this than rope. Of course i would only live like this if i knew by now that i would never have a bright/happy future with a GF. Basically a forest hermitcel.

Why not just ignore civilization, do what you feel like doing that gives you the most happiness rather than focus on the one thing that you're not getting?

If a top athlete gets into an accident and will never be able to perform in his sport again. Is he gonne complain he'll never get a medal again and stop living?
