Story The UK soaps running out and how I feel about it

Soap operas that is, not the stuff you wash your hands with.

I normally watch Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. Now due to Corona they have stopped filming all of them so they are fast running out of episodes to show and have reduced them to just a few times a week.

Although I watch them as part of my routine, at the same time they torment the living shit out of me. The storylines and situations etc surrounding Chads and normies, things that only they qualify for. I watch them to pass time but I also hate them. I often can't even concentrate while watching them due to thoughts spinning round in my mind (but this also goes for most other TV tbh, I am tortured by the blackpill all the time, but the soaps are particularly bad for this).

So the ending of the soaps could be a blessing in disguise for me.

Bruh you rlly are an oldcel if u b watching soap operas. I used to watch them as a kid when my parents used to watch EastEnders and coronation Street n all dat but we don't anymore.

Go on YouTube for a couple of days watching videos you like then the algorithm will recommend you an endless supply of content to watch. Or go on Netflix.

My British relatives stayed with my family for a few weeks a while back and they used to watch this soap opera about a soccer team. It was the most melodramatic thing I have ever seen since I don't even watch US soaps. I forget the name of the show, but in one episode some old guy drove his car into the team bus and killed everyone involved in an explosion. I thought that was pretty based even though I didn't understand what was going on
