In todays Western society it is usually frowned that a kid of age 18 or older "still lives with their parents".
And yet there are a lot of social economic factors that have benefits to do so.
As inflation is rising living at your parents even till your 30s has many positive aspects:
1. One can save more money.
2. It saves time and energy.
3. You still can connect to your parents and thus feel not completely lonely.
4. You are not paying a greedy landlord or have to Deal with the system.
5. You are not so easily to be evicted - if your parents let you live their for free.
Sadly and its something we see in society now, it also has a lot of negative problems:
1. Women are repulsed by men who live at their parents home. It gives of a feeling of not being independent or financially stable. Women despise it.
2. You might face social problems - people are generally disrespectful against people living in their adult life at their parents home.
3. You might face problems with their parents "wanting you to move out" as your parents are getting older the dont want their adult children around - thus they might try to eventually be fiendish towards you. Possible even resent you.
So we see living at your parents has financial and mental profitable aspects but is generally negative for a social status.
How do you feel about living with ot without your parents?
I currently have been living alone for over 4 years and only see my parents once a month.
I feel lonely and sometimes overwhelmend with household work and the Level of rent, energy costs and taxes I have to give up. Which leaves me as a wageslave for the rest of my life (if I dont suddenly become a popular Influencer).
