I've been holding off from telling you all this because it's a long story but today I decided to tell you all about the time when I fell for a romance scam, it's a pretty brutal story.
So it all started back in May of last year when I got matched with a Chinese "foid" on a dating app called Boo. I happened to swipe on her in the app and "she" swiped back on me and we started talking to each other, her profile was verified. The day when it happened, I couldn't believe it has happened because it seemed unreal (which it was) and too straight forward. This is how my first conversation went with her:
We actually started talking on the Boo dating app but the same day she was quick enough to say she wanted to continue the conversation over on Whatsapp (common tactic of scammers, but I didn't know about this before). So "she" added me on Whatsapp and we started talking. We were basically talking about travelling for a while until "she" randomly sent me a screenshot of "her" analyzing the crypto market. I was aware that crypto was a common method of scamming people with but since I myself already had invested some money in BTC, I decided to listen to "her" trading advice and asked how she was making money.
She gave me a link to the sketchiest looking crypto trading platform. The layout was very basic but at the same time it somewhat looked legit, so I went along. She then gave me a demo of how the website works and we did a test trading a small sum of crypto just to get the hang of how the website works. I was "making profit" when she showed me how it all worked and after that I was convinced that this was all legit (what a retard). So basically after earning a profit on my small test trade, I decided to move all of my BTC from my crypto wallet to this scam chink website to try to earn more.
I tried doing research and googling about this website to see if I can find any info about it and I didn't find a single one. Usually companies have social media presence but this one didn't, it wasn't even indexed in google search results. I asked this chink whore why we couldn't use Binance or something similar instead and she said Binance is "unprofessional", what a joke:
I should've done more research before agreeing to this, but I couldn't find any information about this scam exchange so I foolishly trusted this noodlewhore. So to cut the story short because it's a long one: I basically transferred all of my money to this scam site and I followed this noodlewhore's orders and did trades on this scam exchange, this lasted for almost two months. During those two months, we have basically built a relationship between us and I thought that I've finally done it. The noodlewhore even mentioned that she would be visiting my country in a month, so I was really excited and thought I would meet her. I was caught up in all these feelings and we exchanged a lot of love messages between each other:
Jfl, this is so brutal. No foid will ever think I look handsome, what a bunch of lies.
I did tell one guy that in a chat that I've met this noodlewhore and he was right in suspecting that it was a catfish because he managed to reverse image search one of Noodle Whore's photos and they came up in the Google search results, this was one of the photos:
Whoever this foid was, I think she either got kidnapped or murderer by some Chinese pimps or something because I could find photos of her on different websites which was really creepy. But my bluepilled ass thought she was just famous or something so that's why she was appearing everywhere in my reverse search results. I tried getting this noodlewhore to do a video call with me, but she gave me a bullshit excuse like "I don't like to video chat". I thought fair enough not every foid likes to video chat so we continued talking. Some of the selfies she sent me or herself were not reverse image searchable though, so that cleared my suspicion a little bit. I even asked the Noodle Whore to send a photo of her posing doing a peace sign to confirm she's legit which she did. This photo wasn't image reverse searchable.
I should've asked her to do something weird like putting a bucket on her head or something and if she didn't agree with it then she's fake but I was afraid of asking without sounding weird, I didn't want to ruin my relationship with her, so I didn't do it.
Anyway after this, my suspicion of her cleared and we continued talking. To cut the story short, I earned something like "100 grand" in BTC, and when it was time to withdraw the money, the noodle whore told me to contact the "support team" of the website, imagine having to contact the support to withdraw your crypto, no other exchange does this. And when I contacted them on Telegram, they told me I need to pay a fee to withdraw my money:
I told the Noodlewhore that I don't have this kind of money and basically told her that she's a whore for not telling me about this earlier, which she didn't. So this was the final straw, I told her that her plan all along was to scam me and that I don't think she's even the person who she claims to be. She of course denied my accusations and then she stopped replying to me once I told her to fuck off. And yes, she never ended up meeting me in real life, that was a lie. Luckily I didn't lose sleep over this because I only had like $1000 invested in crypto which isn't a lot, even if it was legit I would never invest something like 10 grand into crypto because I know it's very risky and can crash anytime.
This was my most brutal experience ever, stay away from dating apps they are a scam. And yes I'm a retard for falling for something like this.
