The thought of suicide does in fact feel very comforting knowing that it’s the cessation of pain and suffering.

At one point, I used to feel sadness and grief at the thought of ending my life, but now I’ve slowly come to view it very neutrally and even comforting. I hope there is a good afterlife perhaps.
