Despite autistic women's having a huge advantage in the dating experience department, they seem make to even more mistakes/unwanted moves than autistic men:
- 12.2% of autistic men (5 n count for ALL situations listed later, might possibly be the exact same people) have agreed to have sex with people and regretted it later, have agreed to have sex with people even though they did not want to, and have initiated sexual behavior with someone even though they did not want to
- with 11 n count (12.2%) of autistic men reporting sexual habits (and not specifying if they wanted to or not), we can assume these 5 belong to the 12.2% of men, and we can assume 45% of men (5/11) where... what reasons women use to wave off their poor sexual habits? Bah, even the so-called "high-functioning autistic" males are doing well enough, by my standards. None of them could compare their lives to mine and come to an honest conclusion that they're struggling; I may not be a low-functioning drooler stuck in a pure fictional world of sanichu and whatever other nonsense those poor souls have to suffer through, but I'm certainly not on the level of these "high-functioning" frauds.

I'm convinced that the whole dichotomy of "high-functioning" vs. "low-functioning" is false, and that there's a whole middle ground, a gray area if you will, that I fall squarely into, that is forgotten, and swept under the rug, even by the officials and "professionals" that are supposed to know the most about the condition I suffer from. I can feel it on a daily basis; I may not be able to read body language, nor may I have the proficiency to recognize facial expressions or social cues, but I'm not retarded; I can tell when people are avoiding me because they think I'm diseased, or some such, when all I have "wrong" with me is that I was born with a brain defect that was completely out of mky control.

People will be quick to judge others' situations, even in a place like this. Nobody knows what I've been through; even those who have read my succinct life story that I've posted here have no idea, as that was a highly abridged story, with many important details left out for the sake of brevity, and inabilty to remember all that I've suffered through at any given point in time, due to a long-practiced art of blocking out my own painful memories.
