1. As George Fitzhugh said, slavery prevented poverty among Blacks. My point, however, is that Blacks weren't dependent on the welfare system in the South. Slavery saved taxpayers money. Sure, you can and should take all their welfare away, but by allowing slavery, you ensure they will be taken care of.
2. After emancipation there were anti-interracial marriage laws. During slavery, however, some slaveowners impregnated their slaves. This is love. Slaveowners loved their slaves despite race. My point is that emancipation is racist and anti-Black. I'm going to disagree that Whites hated Blacks after emancipation, but let's say it's true, it doesn't make sense to hate your property. That's why it's yours. Therefore slaveowners didn't hate their slaves. They weren't racist. If you don't want it, however, you can always give it away to another White as a gift or product. And yeah, slaves were hella expensive, but they could have been a gift from a wealthier man. Perhaps though there was interracial love post-emancipation though.
3. Also impregnating Black slaves is consensual eugenics unlike forced sterilizations because half-Blacks are superior to full Blacks.
4. It is also known that some Blacks were subjected to forced abortions and forced sterilization from eugenics supporters after emancipation. I never heard of a Southerner doing that to a Black. Sterilization is like damaging your own property. Slaveowners actually had an incentive to allow their slaves to reproduce because slaves were so expensive that it's cheaper to make new ones. Also, the higher the supply, the lower the price of a product. Sure, Google says slaves in some other cultures were castrated, but I assume the women were allowed to reproduce.
5. Also, slavery may have been anti-segregation because slaves slept in the same houses their owners lived in. Google says, "Yes, some slaves lived in the same house as their enslavers, particularly those who worked as house servants. These slaves, known as house slaves, performed domestic duties like cooking, cleaning, and childcare. However, many more enslaved people lived in separate quarters, often referred to as slave quarters, on the plantation or farm."
6. Also, slaves were family. As I said, they took care of white children. They were also called aunt and uncle. As Google says, "Yes, the terms 'aunt' and 'uncle' were sometimes used to refer to enslaved people, particularly older individuals, in the American South."
7. Also, after slavery Blacks hardly voted. Google says, "In 1940, only 3% of eligible African Americans in the South were registered to vote." But before emancipation, the South wanted the slave population to be counted so that they had more congressmen and electoral votes. That's why there was a three-fifths compromise. Therefore, Blacks were represented better during slavery.
8. Also, you might say slavery is bad because Jews did it, but that's not true. According to Google, "Around 20-25% of white Southern households owned slaves." Also, "While some Jews did participate in the Atlantic slave trade and owned slaves, their involvement was significantly less than that of other groups, according to the American Jewish Committee and other historical analyses." Also, slavery was abolished in 1865. You'd think late 19th century Jews would prefer the pro-slavery Democrats, but Google says, "In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Jewish voters, especially German Jews who arrived in the mid-19th century and became established in professions, often leaned Republican." Jews seem to have always been progressive in the US. Jews are bad, but let's say it's true that they were the majority involved in the slave trade. That just means slavery is progressive and that even minorities were involved in it.
