Was reading some Houellebecq today and it occurred to me that comparisons of the sexual market to the economic market always miss a key point: In the economic market, one's actions actually create wealth, thus "growing the pie." If you are NT, you can choose to participate simply by bettering your skills, if you wish. Your labor contributes to the overall wealth. However, in the heterosexual sexual market, "wealth" is fixed and finite because the ratio of men to women stays largely the same over time. In this way, the pie can never grow. For this reason, we can have no expectation of ever participating in the sexual market.
