Why is this happening?

Simple, it is part of 'their' agenda, an agenda which seeks to create & encourage degeneracy so that society is dumbed down greatly, mind-washed by sex, and most importantly, decrease birth-rates.

Smaller populations are easier to control, and that is a fact.

Along with encourage hypergamy, what better way to do this?

Oh yeah, brainwash an entire generation into believing they are same sex attracted, attracted to multiple genders, or even that they can change genders.
