He does a very fine job crafting culturally neutral movies. Most American/Hollywood movies encompass strong western influences and themes, whereas his movies often have virtually no resemblance of contemporary concerns. You could wait out 30 years and Inception, The Dark Knight, Interstellar and TENET would still feel timeless. As a result, his movies are much easier for foreigners to dissect and appreciate.

Another reason: his movies still revolve around heavily masculine roles and literally every single one of his movies has featured main protagonists that embody masculine traits, and believe it or not, unlike western cesspits that are pozzed to their crooked teeth for trying to emasculate, feminize and destroy the idea of masculinity, both men and women of the more traditional/third world countries still happen to enjoy a good bit of masculine characters in their movies.

One last reason I could think of: curries and kebabs love to desperately pretend like they’re more intellectually capable than the average person due to having lesser grounds of opportunities and privileged success, and since they have to cling onto more mundane ways of wageslaving as a means to survive, their obsession with Nolan’s movies, being glorified pseudo-scientific fictions that even a child could potentially digest, in essence, is there to help them cope with just how miserably lackluster their lives could potentially be.

That’s why you so many retarded normie curries obsess over Nolan’s Interslopper and general astrology/solar space all over TikTok and Instagram! :feelsgah: They like to think it’s this super complex and profound story, where in reality, it’s anything but a decently enjoyable elliptically narrated sci-slop fantasy.

Nolan is one of those modern superstar-directors, might be the only one. Most likely, yes. But in Curryland, he got insanely popular because of ITcels after The Dark Knight.
