Is because they have been conditioned through decades to believe in the bluepill. Because of this, when normies are confronted with the blackpill they are taken aback by the stark contrast in comparison to the bluepilled values that has been instilled into their minds for countless years. Changing their worldview to accept the blackpill would not only be emotionally damaging but it would also be mentally taxing as well. As humans, we have a tendency to stick to what we are familiar with and stay in our comfort zone. The "Allegory of the Cave" is a good example of this.

The prisoner who has been imprisoned from birth could only see shadows in the cave. Once he is brought out of the cave as a man, he is unable to face the real world, the reality and reject it to return back to his cave, his comfort zone. He would even go as far as killing somebody who tries to force him outside of that cave. However, if he was to be forced to stay outside of the cave he will finally accept and embrace the reality and take pity on those who are still stuck in that cave, that limited yet flawed perception of reality.

In a similar manner, normies who have been raised upon the bluepill for decades since birth completely shut out the possibility of the blackpill and exhibit intense contempt or hatred for us who offer them a new worldview, one that is grounded closer to reality. It's not just the blackpill. Redpill, conspiracy theories, Religion, you name it. Normies aggressively reject anything that challenges their hive-minded worldview that has been shared with and taught by other Normies.

for us its easier to be brought into the light. we experienced the harsh realities of life due to being low percentile in looks which cause us to be more mentally able to accept the blackpill. normies who get laid every now and then and are treated decently are oblivious to the blackpill. this makes it harder for them to shift their worldview.
