For a long time, i've always thought of the first 2 decades of life as the "developmental years" but only in a truly physical sense. Ironically, it was only after i had completed my developmental years, at the age of 20, that i realised that the developmental years is a period of time in which it is not just the BODY, but the MIND which undergoes development. Childhood/adolescence is the time when people develop communication skills, social skills. This is achieved through interactions with authoritative figures for example (teachers, principal etc.), but most importantly, through socialization with peers. Upon observations, it is blatantly obvious that there is a positive correlation between a child's popularity throughout school and their social status in adulthood.

Most people grow up with friends. They receive continuous and frequent positive reinforcement from friends. They get validation from knowing that others value their worth as a human, and actually desire their companionship. They are recruited into social circles, in which they feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. When they reach adulthood, they are able to capitalise on their social skills which they were able to develop because others gave them the chance to do so in the first place. They use their networking skills to make connections with important people, who can help them rise up the corporate ladder. They are respected by their colleagues and have moderate social status. When they are not working, they have friends to actually spend time with.

Unfortunately, not everyone is naturally efficient in participating in human interactions. Some people are on the autism spectrum which hinders their abilities in being able to socialize with others. But rather than others helping them become more able to interact with their fellow human, they are treated inherently negatively, causing their already low social skills to deteriorate even further. Some people are just physically repulsive/ugly, WHICH HINDERS OTHERS FROM INTERACTING WITH THEM. Although these ugly people may be neurotypical, sociable and actually have the ability to interact normally with others, no one gives them a chance to express themselves so their high levels of natural social skills also takes a gradual plunge, rendering them less and less socially functional, and more and more socially retarded.

Those who are autistic and/or ugly are the primary victims of bullying. Instead of receiving positive reinforcement, they receive negative reinforcement. Instead of being accepted by others, they are rejected. This causes them to develop social anxiety in their adolescence which can extend into adulthood. In rare cases, (which are becoming more common by the day), past-trauma from bullying can induce agoraphobia.

Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by symptoms of anxiety in situations where the person perceives their environment to be unsafe with no easy way to escape. Those affected will go to great lengths to avoid these situations. In severe cases people may become completely unable to leave their homes. An agoraphobic person will have the tendency to fear human interactions, due to associating human interactions with negative emotions, based on a past history in which their only interactions with others were negative in nature. This fear will prevent them from actively seeking employment, as they are aware that having a job involves interacting with customers, co-workers and employer(s). It is a lifelong condition, which causes a person to become a jobless shut-in. Even if that person had potential to accomplish great things and make significant achievements, he will not be able to fulfill that potential due to this condition which was induced by others throughout childhood. Instead, he will be spending the rest of his life on the fringes of society, his mind vegetating by the day as a result of being unoccupied.

Imagine a skyscraper. No matter how strong the beams are at the top, if the foundation is weak, the entire structure will collapse. This is an analogy for life itself. If you were cast out from your own species BY your own species in your childhood which is the foundation for the rest of your life, you will become further isolated, alienated and disconnected in adulthood. Trying to function normally as an adult despite having an abnormal childhood, missing key developmental experiences such as friendship, is impossible. It's like trying to complete a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces; no matter how much you try to put the available pieces together, the puzzle will never be complete.

There's too much perfectionism in you, like everyone completes life foundation by all 100%. Personality is part genetics, part environment, some people may lose one of and some the other, but very few develop truly ideal foundation. Environmental part is shaped by feedback received from society, which is based almost solely on your looks, and looks are based on genetics, and thus long story short: genetics = childhood and childhood = adulthood.

Do you heard about Puberty bro?

Very true, and even if you break out and succeed, your progress and ascent is still hampered significantly.

Studies confirmed that if you are high iq, with exceptional effort you can achieve FINANCIAL parity with your peers from normal and more social backgrounds, but you cannot and no study has demonstrated that you can ever achieve social, sexual and personal fulfillment parity with your peers after such a bad start.

I like this thread

"Give me a child under 7 years of age and I can return him as any kind of man you want..." (Or something like that) - said some famous priest during the middle ages.

Yep. Still true.

Your skull is mostly formed before puberty. No matter how you slice it, all this shit is predetermined.
