Among whites South Africans the wealthiest 25 percent (upper middle class and the wealthy) still live very good lives although they now live in Gated Communities. Those who lost everything were the poorest 25 percent (poor and lower working class) but little is written about them. Those who left and are leaving are the upper working class and lower middle class (the 50 percent) as they don’t enjoy access to education, job security, savings, housing and physical security as under apartheid. In Latin America the wealthiest 25 percent are still mostly White. They do reasonable well and the 1 percent is very wealthy and can afford a very luxuries life-style with maids, chefs, and chauffeurs as labor is dirt cheap. If you belong to the one percent in Rio de Janeiro your life doesn’t change much regardless who is in power. The white elite in the USA, Canada, New Zeeland and Western Europe is very aware of this. They know that they have nothing to fear from a demographic shift. The same goes for the wealthiest 25 percent of the American white population. They simply don’t care if 75 percent of the white population ends up in severe poverty and beg on the streets.
What will happen is that United States will have non-hispanic white majority by 2050 and whites (overall) will be minority by 2100. Most of us will not be alive by 2100 and by than the U.S will have features similar to Costa Rica. China and other Asian countries will be the centre of politics, commerce and trade. The United States will not be a super-power anymore. It will be overtaken by China. Most of Europe will go the same way as United States although
I think Eastern Europe will still have white ethnic majority. Looking at GDP growth per capita many of them will pass Western Europe the coming 50 years. Most people will accept the change just as the White South Africans did. The wealthiest whites (top 25 percent) will work together with Asians, Latinos, Blacks, Indians, Jews, and Mulattos just as in South Africa or Latin-America. There will be no such thing as a Nordic Welfare State, NASA, good and safe parks (if you are not wealthy to afford them) and anything else white people are accustom to. Life will be hard and difficult for many. Political life will be corrupt just as in Brazil or any other borderline third world country. As I wrote America will look like Costa Rica by 2100. It is not a bad place to live – it is just that life is harder for most Americans. Of course white people (but not rich white people) will be constant scapegoats.
