All semester there was this homely looking girl ("she can't be taken, right?") for whom I decided it was now or never. I couldn't bear the though of having yet another memory to dwell on until the day I die; what if? what if? what if? But I get your pain too. Been there many times. Part of the problem is we're so desperate when we finally allow ourselves to hope and believe we have a chance, we build it up so much in our mind, that when we try and get shot down we don't even know what to do with ourselves.

Learning to be rejected gracefully is a skill. The worse rejections I've had were bad because I didn't handle it well. Typically I've tried "bargaining" or tried "convincing" the girl which works as well as one would expect.

I was in a PUA lair. These guys would legit approach at least 20 girls a night. The successful ones were masters identifying and ditching girls who are not willing to have sex with them that night. Then they would be hyped as fuck if they ended up getting a blowie from a 5/10 chick.

That shit was way too much for me. I didn't even get the satisfaction of getting one blowie or even a kiss. I did lose my handholding virginity, though, so I guess I am a pretty big Chad.
