It was Kindergarten and my friend and I were the few kids left on campus because our parents were teachers that were doing a meeting. And I remember him asking if I am Muslim and I said no. And he said you are an infidel and that I should convert. I was speechless. I mean I thought that guy was a friend but on that day I realized I should not waste time making friends with muslims because they will always see me as less. I will always be a minority/outsider to them keep in mind he was a Palestinian so we were both Levantines.
Brootal.
Shit my life was so fucking weird man living in ME. Crazy mfs.
Second situation
I was in Orthodox Sunday School and I remember it was talking about the ways to reaching heaven was martyrdom and he said one example was the Christians who refused to convert to Islam and were killed by IS. Honestly that was crazy I didn't understand why we had to prove to God our love to that extent.
Third situation
Was learning about that dude who had to sacrifice his child to God and he said nuh uh I didn't say Simon says and he did not stab him and started crying. The whole story sounded like a power tripping God.
Then my life kept going downhill and I eventually became Agnostic. Especially Quarantine and the isolation drove me mad.
I guess my question is do you view religion as important in winning the Culture war?
Is religion important in politics? Kinda Crusades did actually help sometimes and fucked over Christendom other times?
I want to hear some opinions
