You forgot @Adolf Hitler
i like him but dont admire himYou forgot @Adolf Hitler
he does if you actually read his bookssupporting the unabomber is a low iq trait tbh. other than "technology bad" he has no solutions
He was right, even if he presented solutions nobody would listen. And also many scientists are talking about degrowth who is listening to them, absolutely nobody. You need to be violent and physical for them to even listen to you.supporting the unabomber is a low iq trait tbh. other than "technology bad" he has no solutions
whats his solution then? honestly wonderingHe was right, even if he presented solutions nobody would listen. And also many scientists are talking about degrowth who is listening to them, absolutely nobody. You need to be violent and physical for them to even listen to you.

I agree with him on that focusing on increasing GDP wont benefit society in the long term. but if we all abandoned technology wouldnt we all just be backwards and it would be harder to do many mundane tasks?I haven't read his work, just watched some video essays.
But DEGROWTH is a solution provided by many people.
Its not talking about completely abandoning technology. It's saying that we need to slow down in technological advancements until most of the world's population catch up to modern countries in standard of quality of life, education health care etc. It's also saying to abandon technology that causes harm to earth and let the earth heal itself. Also besides we are spending too much money and resources on making useless technologies such as new mobile models every year and things like that.I agree with him on that focusing on increasing GDP wont benefit society in the long term. but if we all abandoned technology wouldnt we all just be backwards and it would be harder to do many mundane tasks?
Return to a more primitive lifestyle, effectively dismantling the technological and industrial infrastructure. also teds work gives us critical thinking:, interdisciplinary understanding and foresight.whats his solution then? honestly wondering
You cant have your cake and eat it too, i would suggest you to read his books because it goes in great in-depth and focus on arguments, my personal response would be an over-reliance on technology has made society less resilient. By abandoning certain technologies, people could potentially regain skills and capacities that have been outsourced to machines, leading to greater self-reliance.I agree with him on that focusing on increasing GDP wont benefit society in the long term. but if we all abandoned technology wouldnt we all just be backwards and it would be harder to do many mundane tasks?
