Totally spies was pretty nice used to beat my dick to the green one as a young lad

brutal western animation pill

i kind of liked W.I.T.C.H

Never watched

Those French really know how to animate teenage girls. I watched that when I was a kid as well

I dunno.

The various "Emmanuelle" soft core porn whore movies were VERY well done back when I was a wee lad, heh.

I was too young when I watched the show
cant remember much

i remember i always watched it after Sonic on some channel i can't remember the name of. them playing it directly after Sonic, a male-targeted cartoon, makes me think that they might have known a lot of young boys would watch it because the foids are hot to them.

Winx club and w.i.t.c.h are both based on itslian comics. They wouldnt get away with that hot girls if it was modern america.

I used to watch Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Networks at my grandpa's place, nice childhood memories :feelsautistic:

PPG used to be my childhood favorite show. I assume that you are younger than me, because I was already a young adult when MLP FiM series came out in 2010. I started watching it 2012/2013, along with PPG. Especially My Little Pony helped me to calm down and forget all about my worries irl, so maybe I'll look at it again.

I used to watch the Winx Club.

It was good for a kids cartoon. Anw the guys the spies like in the show were literal Chads too

I've seen probably a dozen apiece of either Totally Spies and Winx, they're pleasant for a watch though I wouldn't rank them super-high in terms of overall toons. WITCH is one I've heard good things about but it hasn't streamed on any channels I get so I haven't gotten around to it.

These are hardly the only/best all-female groups in toons though. I can think of better series.

1) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (Spike doesn't count)
2) Mysticons (from the creators of Skyland, go watch that first, it's better)
3) Z-squad (this is Korean)
4) lots of anime (not going to list it all)
5) Harvey Girls Forever (originally "Harvey Street Kids" but boys are only ever supporting cast so it got renamed by season 2)
6) Shimmer and Shine (I like it)
7) Little Charmers (embrace the lolis with giant balloon heads)
6) probably some other western toons... I tried watching "Rainbow Rangers" recently but it just felt off to me so I stopped, would not recommend

These are all "female group" shows. There are plenty of other shows centered around a female protagonist which I also think are pretty good, in most cases Disney stuff actually just named after them:

1) Sofia the First
2) Elena of Avalor
3) Doc McStuffins
4) The Rocketeer
5) Mira, Royal Detective
6) Vampirina
7) Fancy Nancy
8) Goldie (and Bear)

Plus non-Disney:
1) Miss BG
2) Franny's Feet
3) Pippy Longstocking
4) Ruby Gloom
5) Nella the Princess Knight
6) probably dozens of others I can't think of right now because my brain is fried

All these have a mix of male and female supporting cast though.

I noticed u r quite the cartoon enthusiast. I do still enjoy old cartoons every now n then but how do u sit thru these new cartoons, especially the 3d animated ones?

For the most part, yes. Occasionally if I notice they're reusing footage/song then I'll use the fast-forward since I usually appreciate the unique dialogue.

Shimmer and Shine really took a step up in s2+ when they left the human world behind, entered Zahramay Falls and introduced Zeta the Sorceress as a recurring antagonist.

I completely understand if 3D is initially repelling, it took me some time to get accustomed to it, but you can.

Overall I guess I just enjoy the positivity. In many ways it's actually more mature than many adult-oriented shows. These never rely on laugh tracks or audience for their jokes, and I think writers/animators put in effort to have subtle things that can appeal to us.

Are there any in particular that put you off, or others you think you'd be more able to tolerate?

some others I've watched include Sadie Sparks, Wallykazam, Mike the Knight, Top Wing, PJ Masks, Butterbean's Cafe, Super Wings, Robocar Poli, Mega Man: Fully Charged, Sonic Boom, The Deep, Slugterra, Trolls: The Beat Continues, Trollhunters, and probably a couple dozen others whose titles aren't coming to mind just now.

I've heard none of the titles u mentioned above except for Slugterra n Trollhunters, n didn't know Megaman had a modern cartoon.

The thing that puts me off with modern cartoon is they think kids are low iq.

From the top of my head, Hey! Arnold is my all time favourite cartoon.
